Grandma and Grandpa Lehman in Denver

We had a wonderful visit with Mike and Carol.  They came and spent three days with us on the weekend before Thanksgiving.

We got a lot of relaxing time at home with the kids and we made a lot of really good meals together.

We visited the Museum of Nature and Science one day and the other day exploring downtown.
Like father like son.

We started off our Saturday with brunch.

We took the train to Union Station downtown.

Union Station used to be a ghost town, but they have been renovating it for the past few years.  It looks amazing now and is complete with a hotel, restaurants, and a terminal bar.

We walked around downtown and played in the bookstore.

We headed for the Highlands in the afternoon.

The weather was perfect so we sat on the patio at Denver Beer Company for a happy hour.

Thanks so much to Mike and Carol for coming to stay with us.  We always enjoy having you.
Love you so much.

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year!

The two jobs gig is kind of kicking my butt...thus being really behind on posts.  It is worth it though because I feel like I have the flexibility to be with the kids when it matters.

I took the day off on Halloween to enjoy the pumpkin patch with Chance, Savannah, and their bestie Isla.

Savannah could not get enough of the tire swing.  She is a thrill seeker for sure!

The highlight for Chance and Isla was definitely the corn maze.

I can't get over how much they love each other.

They all skipped, giggled, and laughed the entire way through the maze.

They each picked out a pumpkin.

and then we headed home to get dressed in our costumes.

Savannah was an owl.

Chance was a tiger.

Our first trick or treat stop was to Ms. Barb!
We are SO LUCKY to have her be so involved with our kids.  I don't think she could love them more if they were her own blood.

Our next stop was to drop off Isla...shown here as Elsa from Frozen.

Then it was off to our neighborhood where we met up with Max as soon as he got off of work.  Our street was the PLACE to be!.  There were bands and parties and candy everywhere.

We can't wait to do it AGAIN!
