After sneaking out of work on a few Fridays to ski without Chance and Savannah...
We decided that it was time to try again. This time we did some more research and learned that Eldora Mountain near Boulder might be the ideal place to teach Chance and Savannah to ski.
They have a long magic carpet and a big learning area.
This day went so well. Everyone got on the magic carpet and there were no tears.
Max even bought Savannah her first season ski pass. She was 22 months old at the time.
Savannah's favorite part of the mountain is hugging all of the little flowers that border the kids area.

Because our trial run at Eldora went so well, we decided to take the kids to Copper Mountain for a weekend as well.
This is where Chance decided that he was ready to try his first lift and just out of coincidence it happened to be called PITCHFORK!
Chance is now doing well on the lifts and Max feels like he can keep him from going to fast by holding the leashes.
What a difference one month made.
