We had an amazing Christmas at home this year! We decided that it was too stressful to travel with the kids being so young and we loved being at home to start new traditions for our family.
I co-hosted our first neighborhood ugly sweater party with Sandra from my mom's group. It was so much fun and a huge success. It feels wonderful to be a part of a community and we are making friends with lots of new families.
Here is our family photo from the night.
We also went and sang Christmas carols. We had some friends join us and we delivered cookies and sang to a few lucky neighbors.
We went to the Candlelight church service on Christmas Eve and then Nick came over and made us home made gnocchi. It was so delicious!
We watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with the kids in their Christmas Jammies....
and prepared milk and cookies for Santa.
The next morning....SANTA CAME....and Chance was genuinely shocked because he was not very nice during the candlelight service at church :)
We spent the rest of the day playing with the kids and their new toys.
It was the perfect family day.
Nick requested pictures of Chance and Savannah in the new Pitchfork skis hoodies he had made for them.
We got a snowy surprise around dusk and we were lucky enough to get some snow.
Such a wonderful ending to a day with so many memories.
