We spent this years Thanksgiving holiday with our families in Kansas.
The drive was long, but it was worth it to spend time with our loved ones.
We arrived in Lansing on Thanksgiving day and Carol already had the dining room set for a feast!
We had the most relaxing day! I took the longest nap and actually dreamed that I was taking a wonderful nap during my nap. I think you call that relaxation inception?

Adrian was curious about all of the random photos that I was taking throughout the day and he asked if he could try out the camera. Below is Adrian's photo collage. He somehow managed to get TWO photos of Mike and Carol together. Good job buddy!
My favorite part of the day was watching Chance and Kennedy play with their new toys before bedtime. Cousins are the best!
Friday I met my mom and sister at the Legends for some girl time and Black Friday shopping. The entire day was an absolute blast! My mom spoiled my sister and I rotten for Christmas and you know I couldn't help but pick up a few things for baby girl Lehman.
Saturday I spent the day at my sisters because I still had not seen my dad yet. He had to work in Arkansas on Friday and Saturday and only had time to make the trip to Kansas City on Saturday night.
My mom was a present wrapping machine while my sister and I relaxed and tried to keep up with Chance and Addison's energy :0)
We finished off the weekend with dinner at Jack Stack for some KC BBQ.
My dad is 100% grandpa in this photo with Addison's my little pony pin on his shirt and Chance asleep in his arms.
We were surprised by my parent's long time friends the Langemeiers who even made the drive up from Iowa for the day to be part. We are truly loved from every angle.
We have much to be thankful for.
Thanks to everyone who made this holiday special by spending time with us.
