Lights and Limos

This weekend has been the perfect mix of cuddling and craziness!
Last night was our 2nd Annual Lights and Limos Christmas Party with our Denver Village.
We worked on the garage all morning and played with Chance until it was time to get ready for dinner.  Chance spent the evening with Ms. Barb so that Max could have a night out with our friends.
We are so lucky to have someone that we trust to take care of our little man while we are out.

Dinner was at Lola's, an amazing coastal mexican seafood restaurant in the Highlands.  At first I wrinkeled my nose at the description of lobster quesadillas and lamb meat balls, but I was hooked at first taste! Every part of dinner was delicious from the appetizers to the dessert.

We had a great dinner out and enjoyed swapping fun stories with our friends.

After dinner, it was time for our limo ride to take us around town to look at Christmas lights.

We even got our first snow as we walked out of the restaurant and loaded into the limo.

We popped a few bottles of champagne...

and headed out to see the lights!

The capitol building was by far the best stop.

and our frist snow!!!!

The entire evening was an absolute blast complete with dancing and lots and lots of singing.

This morning there was still snow on the ground and the air was COLD!

We quickly decided to have a nothing Sunday and declared that all family members would remain in their pajamas for breakfast and movies.

Betcha didn't know that sometimes Max cooks Chance and I breakfast while dancing :)

We made our living room floor into a giant family bed and so far we've watched Megamind and Elf.

Chance and I did manage to leave the living room just long enough to make some spinach dip for snacking, but we will likely stay in our pajamas for another nap and more cuddling.

I know all weekends can't be as perfect and relaxing as this one, but I'm definitely putting this one in the record books as one of my favorites.
