Mike and Carol Visit

We had a wonderful visit with Max's parents, Mike and Carol, last weekend.
We got to spend a lot of quality time with them and we hope that they enjoyed their time.

Mike and Carol flew in on Friday so we just stayed in to relax.  Max made us an amazing steak dinner and we cheered on our teams in the March Madness tournament.

We headed out on Saturday to check out the best of Colorado food and beer festival.  It turned out to be more of a giant convention center filled with arts and crafts.
They did have bounce houses and a slide and kettle corn though so Chance thought it was great :)

After the Bite of Colorado Festival we headed back down to our neighborhood to try out the new brewery.
It has a great atmosphere, very low key, and very family friendly.

We didn't know what was good, so we had to get a mini sample and try them all.

Our trip to the brewery ended abruptly when Savannah decided that she really did not feel well.  We called it a day, headed home, and ended up ordering a pizza and watching more basketball.

I started out Sunday at the park with the kids again.

We later ventured out to Heritage Square to try the Alpine Slide only to find out that it was not yet open for the season.  We had to take a detour and ended up at Dave and Buster's to round out our weekend of basketball.

We finished the day at the park before calling it a night and making dinner at home again.

We had a wonderful time with Mike and Carol and we are so glad that they were able to come and spend some time with Chance and Savannah.  We can't wait to see them again in May!
