Valentine's Day

We had a low key Valentine's Day this year.  Max was preparing to travel for work and I was preparing to be on my own for awhile around the house.

We made an amazing dinner at  home and played with the kids.

Chance is really into painting, cutting, and coloring right now so we made our own valentine's for each other.

Savannah is still crawling EVERYWHERE!
This is a photo of her making it all of the way up the stairs in the time it took me to pour Chance a glass of milk.
She is fast!

Chance was especially proud of his heart monster.
He now knows all of his shapes, colors, and can count to 40.

Savannah loves opening packages!
Thanks Grandma Lehman for the adorable clothes and toys that you sent for Valentine's Day.
They were perfect!

Perhaps the thing that I am loving most about Chance and Savannah right now is that they are NOT morning people.  They take a while to wake up.  They both sleep in their beds, but they like to lay with me in the morning for about thirty minutes to an hour.
They hug each other and watch cartoons.  I want to let them lay in bed forever when they are like this.

Jump Street

Jump Street is quickly becoming one of our favorite Saturday hang out spots.
Both Chance and Savannah love to play in the bounce houses.

Savannah just giggles the entire time and Chance runs in circles stopping every lap to hug Savannah.

Nothing wears a boy out like endless running on a trampoline.

Brandi and her daughter Reese came to spend the afternoon with us as well.  Reese loved helping Savannah crawl on the trampolines.

The pirate ship slide was also a major hit with the kids.

Both of the kids are at such a fun age right now.

Jump Street is the best!

Week with Grandma

After spending a few weeks chasing my tail and feeling like I was running in circles...I decided to change things up a bit.
I called my mom and asked for help because
I was feeling stressed about work, trying to finish my classes, and studying for the real estate exam all at once.
Max is still working away in the garage as well.

My mom agreed to come and stay for a week to help out.  I took the entire week of vacation from work and signed up to take my real estate exam.

The week turned out to be a complete success.  We all had a blast with mom in town. We got to play with the kids a ton and I passed all of my classes as well as my final exams for real estate.

Here are some pics of my study breaks....

Savannah loves swinging.
Chance is quite the helper.  He loves to push Savannah in the swing and make her laugh.

Chance's favorite at the park is still the slide.

He even convinced Grandma to slide with him.

We got another big snow storm and decided to try sledding on Ruby Hill again.

I only crashed once and Chance didn't seem to mind.
He just loves being pulled in that little sled.

Mom and Savannah did not participate in the downhill sledding.
The just stayed at the top and took selfies.

I have no idea how this little falling snow thing  in the picture below works.  Sometimes after I upload the pictures to the blog, it just picks a picture and decides tog give it a snow globe effect???  It's so bizarre, but I guess I kind of like it.

Because Savannah kept crawling into the tube we took her to a part of the hill with no vertical and  pushed her around in the snow.
She loved it and had the sweetest giggles.

Chance is looking back at Savannah in this picture and smiling about how much she is laughing from being pushed in the sled.

I'm so grateful that my mom was willing to come and help out for the week.

We got a lot done and had a great time too.  Thanks again mom!
