Everyday Scenes

I fell behind on posts a little bit this year.
Here is a quick catch up of some every day scenes from around our house.

We play the Wii.

We take lots of selfies.

We chase Chance around and threaten to tickle him to death.

 We give piggy back rides.

We frequent places like the zoo and the aquarium.

We try and get Savannah to talk.

But all she really wants to do is eat.  Man can she eat!

We're still taking lots of walks around the park,

and
ending our days with

pajama parties

story time

 and bubble baths.

Savannah is up and ...

We used to think that Chance was our dare devil, our risk taker, our adventure seeker.
We were wrong.

Savannah is as fearless as they come!

She is pulling herself up on everything,

and trying to crawl up even further after she pulls herself up.

We are encouraging these efforts with a lot of finger holding to keep her from face planting because all she wants to do is RUN.

She is still quite wobbly, but getting stronger every day.

Can't believe our baby is trying to take her first steps.

We'll keep you posted.  It's only a matter of time before she is actually successful.

Snow Day - Ruby Hill Park

We had our first ever sledding experience as a family a few weeks ago.
I'm going to have to say that it was one of my favorite days...ever!
I'm going to just let the pictures speak for themselves.

If there is snow on the ground in Denver.  You can find us at Ruby Hill Park!

Chance is THREE

What do you do to celebrate your little boys third birthday?
Take them to a trampoline park of course.

What three year old doesn't like a warehouse full of trampolines and jumpy castles?

Chance was a little overwhelmed at first and wouldn't explore without Max or I alongside him, but once he got comfortable...OH MAN!

He played and played and ran and ran and jumped and jumped.

Savannah loved crawling around and exploring too!
She's like her Grandma Barb.  Great coordination requires a little help from your tongue :)

We played with the kids for hours on the trampolines.

We all had a blast.

All of that jumping made us work up an appetite, so we decided to treat Chance to his first ever Casa Bonita experience.  This was kind of ironic because we celebrated Max's 30th birthday by going to trampoline wold and Casa Bonita.

Casa Bonita is a wonderfully terrible Mexican restaurant that you can't help but love.  The food is not good, but the atmosphere is hysterical.  They have live shows with people that dive into the water and a gorilla that is being chased by hunters.  Chance loved it ALL!
We played in the arcade at Casa Bonita after our meal,

and then retired to our home where I made Chance his favorite funfetti cake.

Chance loved it when we sang to him.

We can not believe our little boy is already three years old.
Time really does fly.
The days are long and the years are short.
We love this little boy to the moon and back.
