We welcomed our little girl into the world at 1215pm on Easter Sunday 3/31/13. She was just over three weeks early and surprised us all by coming so soon.
We were instantly smitten and I can not express how much love and happiness she has brought to our family since her arrival.

Because she was born slighlty premature she was taken almost immediately to the neonatel intensive care unit for support with her breathing.
Max left me to recover from the delivery and went with Savannah to find out all of the details on our new little love.
She weighed in at 4 lbs 9 ounces
and was 17 and 1/2 inches long
She was placed on a bubbling oxygen mask for about a day to help her clean out her lungs. Max and I stood by her bedside in the NICU for most of the rest of the day just staring at her tiny body.
We were so happy to finally meet our little lady and so lucky that we had such an amazing hospital and nursing staff to walk us thorugh all of the special treatment that we would need to give Savannah to get her healthy and home.
Welcome to the world Savannah Adele. We love you!
